The Children of Heaven

Once upon a time in Serambi Mecca, live of a family which earned only from fishing. The family named Puteh which was name of the father and Bunda for the mother. They had two children, a boy and a girl, who called respectively by Ibnu and Mutia. As a father, Puteh was one of toughest man in the world who almost spent his lifetime fishing and working for his family.
“I want you to be useful people for the country, religion, and society” Puteh said to his children. But Mutia then asked to the father “why we should be?” “Of course”, Puteh replied, “that was the meaning of life, we were created to lead ourselves and our world”
But Ibnu seemed tedious listen such words. He had listened it for hundred times since he was six years old.
Meanwhile, the time showed at 06.00 AM, “hey!!! This is time to go to school Ibnu” Bunda ordered to the children. “But we have no breakfast yet Bunda! We are hungry” Mutia said. “Okay!! I have made a bottle of tea for you both, it is better than you don’t have anything to keep your hungry”, Bunda replied immediately.
As a traditional custom, before leaving the house Ibnu and Mutia used to kiss her parents hand and say Salam. “Take care!!! Don’t be late okay” Puteh showed his attention.
The school was far away from the house, they must take scurry for about 15 kilometers. Undeliberately, when they were walking in a small river, Mutia slipped and she cried. Her leg was bleeding, she couldn’t walk well. “Stop Crying!!!” Ibnu ordered to his sister. Then, he endeavored to stop the bleeding. “Okay, now I would pick you up to the school” Ibnu tried to calm down his sister.
07.30 AM, they were late. “Excuse me Madam, I am late” Mutia seemed very frightened of her teacher. “Why you are late?” the teacher clamored. She didn’t answer the question, but she commencing crying again. The teacher heran when she knew that Mutia was crying. She started finding the reason why Mutia cried and she found that. She looked up the Mutia’s leg which bleeding. “Please don’t cry okay!!” the teacher let her sit for the pity.
On the contrary, Ibnu was scolded and punished for his late. His teacher ordered him standing in front of the class. Then most of his friend laughed at him. Fortunately, it was the English lesson in which he was prominent with his talent to speak.
“What does the Indonesian Archipelago stand for?” the teacher asked to student. The class was mute and the teacher repeatedly asked the question. But they still had no answer until the teacher looked very angry. She beat a table that shocked most of students. “Sorry Mam!!!” Ibnu raised his hand. “I think it means Kepulauan Indonesia” Ibnu answered the question. “Good son! You are right, okay you may sit now” the teacher appreciated him.
